Чесънът като алтернативна добавка в свиневъдството. Обзор.

Abstract: През последните години интересът към използването на чесъна и неговите екстракти в животновъдството и по-специално в храненето на прасетата значително нараства. Съществуват многобройни проучвания, които показват, че чесънът има положителен ефект върху здравето, производителността и благосъстоянието на свинете, като същевременно намалява нуждата от антибиотици и други синтетични добавки при храненето на животните. Чесънът демонстрира широкоспектърна антимикробна, антивирусна и антипаразитна активност, проявява антиоксидантен ефект и спомага за премахване на токсините от тялото. Той притежава имуномодулаторни, хипогликемични, хиполипемични, антихипертензивни и антикоагулантни свойства и оказва благоприятен ефект върху сърдечно-съдовите заболявания и мозъчната функция, изразяващи се най-вече в понижаване на холестерола и кръвното налягане. Положителното въздействие на чесъна като хранителна добавка в свиневъдството се изразява в подобряване на растежа на прасетата, усвояемостта на хранителните вещества, бактериалната микробиота и чревната функция, преодоляване на диарията след отбиване при прасенцата и намалено отделяне на амоняк с изпражненията.
Чесънът на прах е нов ресурс за бъдещите нужди на животновъдството и по-специално при храненето на свинете. Неговото въздействие остава сравнително ново поле на изследване. Допълнителните научни изследвания върху активните съставки на чесъна и разкриването на биологичните му механизми на действие ще спомогнат за разширяване на познанията и ще създадат възможности за бъдещи приложения на чесъна в свиневъдството.
