Abstract: Different changes in concentration of some metabolites, structural and other compaunds as well as in the activity of variety of enzymes and enzyme systems of the developing organisms have been established during the late fetal and early postnatal period. In addition, species, organ and organelle peculiarities relates to the rate of biogenesis of subcellular structures, to the maturation of metabolic control mechanisms etc. have also been found.
