EFFECT OF SELECTION AND MATTING TYPE ON FERTILITY EWES FROM KARNOBAT FINE WOOL BREED

Abstract: In order to establish the effect of selection and matting type on fertility and intensity of twins in ewes by Karnobat fine wool breed was a study in sheep of the flock of the Institute of Agriculture in Karnobat born in the period 2001-2007.
It was found that teams of ewes born as twins born in the first lambing twins have higher fertility than other groups of sheep throughout the business period. Year of birth had a greater effect on the intensity of twins and reproductive abilities of animals.
Higher fertility showed daughters with his father twin when the first stud girdle one parent is a twin.
The flock ewes from Karnobat fine wool breed was with satisfied fertility which can be used when need as a genetic resource by this sign.
