Bulgarian Journal of Animal Husbandry is an open access peer-reviewed bimonthly scientific journal published by the publishing house of Agricultural Academy. It has been published since 1964. The journal is administrated by an international Editorial board and its Editor-in-Chief is Prof. Dr. Maya Ignatova.

Aims & Scope

The journal publishes original research papers, review articles and brief reports, aimed to cover all aspects of animal husbandry: Cattle and Buffalo; Horses; Sheep and Goat; Pig; Poultry; Rabbits; Fish and Aquacultures; Bee Keeping; Sericulture; Animal Breeding, Genetics and Reproduction; Physiology and Biochemistry; Forages and Nutrition; Quality of Animal Production; Organization and Economics of Animal Husbandry / Livestock Farming; Animal Husbandry Technologies and Equipment; Ecology; Animal Behaviour; Veterinary Medicine; Problems of Science and Practice.

Open access policy

The journal is open access, its online content is available at no charge to the user or their institution. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of articles, or use them for other legitimate purposes, without seeking prior permission from the publisher or author.

Fees

There is no fee for publishing.

There is an annual subscription fee for the paper version of the journal in the amount of BGN 90.
