D. Terziiski, T. Hubenova, A. Zaikov, E. Katzarov
Резюме: Diet and growth of pikeperch fry (Sander lucioperca) reared in fish pond was investigated for period of 32 days. In body size about 11.0 mm main food items are zooplankton representatives of the genus Bosmina and partly by Copepoda. After reaching a length of 16-19 mm pikeperch fry begin to consume large representatives of genus Daphnia and genus Moina. From 25-28 mm body length begins consump¬tion of larval forms of insects (Diptera) and others benthic organisms.
The study showed that over a period of 24 days the pikeperch fry increased from about 8 mm to about 32 mm or 4 times.
